About
I am a second-year Ecology and Evolutionary Biology PhD student at Princeton University.

I am interested in the nexus between animal behaviour, community ecology, and climate change in African savannah ecosystems. In the Pringle Lab, I am studying behavioural tradeoffs involving thermoregulation in spiral-horned antelope.

I completed by Honours BSc in Integrated Science at McMaster University, where my work involved the study of global change across a range of disciplines. I focused on the ecohydrology of boreal wetlands, including the conservation of at-risk turtle and snake species and resilience to climatic and anthropogenic disturbances. My research integrated remote sensing and field data to examine habitat characteristics over a gradient of wetland successional states and human impact. I also studied climate change in tropical glaciers, combining paleoclimatic analysis of proglacial lake sediments with satellite-based remote sensing to assess impacts on water quality and quantity. My geoscience background includes work on fracture geology, where I projected the impact of climate change on thermal weathering processes.
